General Information





Located on the fringe of the 13th century town of St. Antonin - just 1.3km out of town along a lovely riverside lane. Enjoy all the benefits the town has to offer : bars, restaurants, local boutiques, supermarkets, bank, Chemist, Doctors, Post Office and cinema. Within easy driving distance are also lovely bastide towns & villages to visit.




Horse riding, cycling, fishing, bird watching, rock climbing, tree wire, paragliding, wine tasting, museums, tennis and a great variety of public walks are all available nearby. Golf is available at Albi (18-hole delightful course).

An afternoon's excursion by canoe through the Aveyron Gorge is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.



An Easy, flat walk or cycle along a riverside country lane (not on the main road) for just 1.3 km will bring you to town & the first of many restaurants (NB supervision of children will be required to cross a small main road). You can enjoy all the facilities of St. Antonin Noble Val within easy reach - 4 adult bikes provided for client use.

Being a single storey property (with no internal steps), it is also ideal for persons with walking difficulties or wheelchairs.

South facing SALT POOL with solar shower (10m x 5m) : Approx Depths - shallow : 1 m / deepest point 1.80m.

HEATED POOL: Mid June to mid Sept - A small supplement applicable for other dates, (if required).

High hedges surround the property giving a great deal of privacy, grounds laid to lawns & shrubs - ideal for children to play games & other activities. The property is located on a 'no through' lane, with gated parking for up to 3 cars.













With all bedrooms to one end of the property, the house is light & bright with a huge Lounge / Dining area.


LOUNGE & DINING AREA : Large light & hugely spacious L-shaped lounge with dining area (9m x 7m in total) & comfortable seating / flat screen TV with free to view English channels. French doors to the external dining terrace.

KITCHEN : Fully equipped : 4 ring ceramic hob, electric oven, extractor, sink with waste disposal unit, American Fridge/freezer, microwave & dishwasher.

UTILITY AREA : with washing machine & tumble dryer.























BEDROOM I : Twin bedded room with large built in wardrobes.

BEDROOM II : Double bed, chest of drawers with french doors to gardens & pool.

BEDROOM III : again Double bed with french doors and large built-in wardrobes.

Table tennis table (under cover), plus 4 bikes are available for clients use (you must satisfy yourselves as to their road worthiness).



The large external dining terrace pool side has dining table & chairs for 6 persons, with awning for shade & gas BBQ. There is a further terrace beyond the kitchen - both giving views to the dramatic cliffs behind.

The grounds of just over an acre are landscaped and with high hedges, give a great deal of privacy. Wide open flat spaces, ideal for children's games (table tennis & boules supplied) - and the same lovely views to the Gorge behind.













Bikes supplied free of charge to clients, used at clients risk.

The gated drive into the property has turning space & secure parking for up to 3 cars.

We had a lovely time at Les Cerisiers, and especially with the unexpected bonus of the superb weather in mid-September. The house is spacious with great facilities and an enormous secluded garden. The salt pool and solar shower are just wonderful and the view from the garden is amazing. It was great to come back to this area and see more of Saint Antonin, get to the Sunday market, check out a couple more restaurants and visit the other beautiful towns/villages along the gorges, especially Penne and Bruniquel. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the location and Les Cerisiers.





We had a wonderful week at Les Cerisiers. The accommodation was superbly located a short distance from St Antonin Noble Val - a pleasant walk along a quiet lane by the river to get into town. The views from the terraces, living room, kitchen and main bedrooms, as well as the pool, were stunning. The pool was wonderful, especially as it was heated for our stay (first week in September). The villa was well-equipped with everything you are likely to need for your holiday, and it was lovely to have pool towels provided (saved taking home damp towels). The villa was clean and modern, light and airy. We did not use the air-conditioning as although the day time temperature was high 20s and low 30s, the evenings were chilly with spectacular clear skies (the stars were amazing to look at above the cliffs as there was little light pollution). We particularly enjoyed watching birds in the garden, especially in the evenings when some would dive down to drink from the pool. I would say that for tall guests the beds may be a little on the small side, and this was certainly something we were aware of, but it would not stop us booking to stay here again as the views and location really are special.

We spent a very enjoyable week at Les Cerisiers this August. We particularly enjoyed and spent much time in the large garden, which has a lovely pool and an extremely attractive view to some stunning chalk cliffs in the near distance. The inside of the house is very comfortable, light, open and airy. The house is very well-equipped, and has efficient air-conditioning in the bedrooms, which worked brilliantly in what was a particularly hot August. It is in a peaceful location, which is convenient for the centre of St Antonin (perhaps a couple of minutes' drive) and other attractions in the immediate area.

Our fourth stay here (already booked for next year) and it just gets better and better. This year due to the pandemic we were not sure if we were able to have our holiday. Thankfully it did go ahead and we had the hottest weather for nearly three solid weeks thank heaven for the air conditioning a huge bonus with this fantastic property.   It feels like we are home when we come back to Les Cerisiers such a comfortable spacious house with amazing views. The garden is beautiful and we love the pool and patio area all with new comfortable furniture this year. Jayne and her team really look after us and we would not hesitate to recommend this fabulous house for a wonderful relaxed holiday. It has everything.

This was our second time at Les Cerisiers and again we had a wonderful two weeks here. The house had everything we needed and the pool offered much welcomed relief from the very hot weather we experienced. The location is fantastic being just a 20 minute stroll into St Antonin along the river. The garden is secluded and peaceful and the gorge is an amazing backdrop. Jayne was incredibly helpful and we really enjoyed meeting her. We will be back!

"After a walking holiday we were looking for a relaxing retreat. Les Cerisiers was a perfect choice. The house is spacious, very well appointed, comfortable and easy to use. The pool is delightful and the large garden offered us lots of shade on hot days to relax on the plentiful sun loungers. The views from the garden up to the Aveyron Gorge are beautiful. Pottering into St Antonin along the river road was charming and the old medieval town is lovely. The Sunday market is full of good things. It's a great place to stay and we would recommend it very highly.  We also found Jayne from French Country Houses extremely helpful and efficient.

The gorge provides a breath-taking backdrop to a very comfortable, stylish home. The place is so well kitted out all you need to pack is your clothes & with a supermarket 5 minutes up the road, it makes for a very low maintenance stay! The garden is stunning and we spent lovely evenings poolside watching the sunset over the gorge, enjoying a local glass of wine and BBQing. The walk into Anton de Noble is a pleasant 20-30 minute stroll along the river & with bikes provided you can always jump on those for a faster trip. So many picturesque views along the way! We will definitely be returning and can not recommend it highly enough. Enjoy!
