Huge room sleeping up to 4 : 1 double & 2 twin beds. TV for use with DVD player / computer with internet access, wireless keyboard & printer. Triple aspect, light and cool with evier & fireplace features.

Entrance/exit door to covered external veranda at front of house.

 

 

 

FAMILY BATHROOM : Corner bath, WC, inset handbasin and large, tiled shower.

 

First Floor

BEDROOM IV : Single sofa/day bed which easily converts to a double (or even 2 singles).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUMMARY :

The entire house is equipped for 8 persons but will sleep up to 10 @ small supp - However restricted to max 8 adults. It may mean some sharing of sun beds, finding extra chairs in different locations but the house is certainly large enough to accommodate all happily.

 

OUTSIDE

 

 

PRIVATE POOL :

12m x 6m with roman steps, paved surround & views across the countryside. Infra-red pool alarm & thermal summer pool cover.

 

Enclosed SHOWER ROOM with WC for pool users.

 

 

In a separate and charming ‘MAISON D'AMIS ' / GAMES ROOM between the Main house and the pool, you will find table tennis, badminton equipment, boules, etc.

 

 

Here too you will find the SUMMER KITCHEN (fridge, sink, crockery, wooden worktops, BBQ) which leads onto a delightful covered and paved dining terrace, with table and chairs for 8 persons - a perfect lunching spot.

 

An ADDITIONAL DINING TERRACE is located in front of the kitchen (Main House), with table & chairs & natural shade from the large chestnut tree.

There are loungers for sunbathing and outside furniture for dining & relaxing.

 

MATURE GARDENS (8355m2 / 2 acres with no near neighbours) lead out from the front of the house towards the pool.

Laid mainly to lawns with long views across to a distant hamlet. A paddock running roadside, partially mown for games, makes up the rest. Plums & figs in abundance, so please help yourselves when in season. Space also for boules & badminton.

OUT OF SEASON STAYS for up to 4 persons :

The Vielle Maison will be completely closed off to give a more cosy feeling, thus giving you : Salon, kitchen, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The Main House is equipped with underfloor heating on the ground floor, and centrally heated on the upper floor. (The Vielle Maison is not heated and therefore not suitable for winter lets).
